About Mike Davis
I have recently relocated to southern Missouri, I have been making custom longrifles and custom knives for 25 years. I have apprenticed under Jack Garner of T.V.M. of Corinth, Mississippi and Jackie Brown of Walnut, Mississippi. I have been most fortunate to share a friendship with Hershel and Frank House and I have done my best to hold the standard that they set for the Woodbury school rifles. I will always be grateful to all of the my mentors, for each has contributed a part to what I do.
In 2016, I was one of the gunmakers chosen to make a rifle for the Contemporary Longrifle Association's 20th Anniversary Show and Auction. This rifle was featured in Muzzleloader, American Tradition, and Muzzle Blasts magazines.
In 2018, I was honored to compete and take home the grand prize on Discovery Channel's Master of Arms TV show.
I enjoy squirrel hunting with these rifles, along with my Original Mountain Cur dogs, two historical things that go great together.
